My Wife & I have been going to soboba for many years. I have NEVER seen the slots as tight as they are now, late 2009. You cannot get a drink and the floor staff ignore you if you have a problem, which is frequent. The best thing they have going is the free parking if you are handicapped as I am. Take care!!!7
ABC needs to bust them on serving alcohol to each and every guest that enters the casino. The service for the most part is poor unless you tip large. most of the employees who have obviously worked there for years treat their regulars nice, but every one else like trash. glass wear is always low and when they are in stock usually filthy. Slot pay out is pretty nice that is the only reason we keep going back. 2
soboba casino is the only casino I will play at. only place I have ever had luck. played at the other big casino and they are really tight. Food is great. will be there on july 3rd for free smokey robinson concert. 10
SOBOBA IS VERY GOOD COMPARED TO SAN MANUEL BUT TO FAR FOR ME. BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT IS TOO CROWED AND SMOKE IS BAD. PECHANGA IS CLEANER AND PAYS MUCH BETTER. BUT I ALWAYS LOVED SOBOBA GAS IS JUST TO MUCH.7
Soboba Casino has just been recently renovated! Additionally, just had a brand new air filtration system installed. They have brand new chairs for the slot machines and offer some of the best odds in Southern California not to mention the Soboba Treasure Chest Jackpot where anyone can win as long as you have your player’s card in the machine. Back in February I wrote a review of this casino, giving it very high grades. I commented on how friendly the pit supervisors were and that they offered some of the best blackjack in California. That was in February! We returned this weekend, taking a hotel room in Hemet and planning to stay Friday-Sunday, playing mostly blackjack all weekend. The double deck and 6 deck games are all different now, no longer some of the best in California but amongst the worst and the pit seems to have orders to not interact with players at all in a friendly manner. They went from a friendly homey type of place to a give us your money fast place. We played a little friday, we got lucky and won but went to Palm Springs today and then on to home early. Never to return to Soboba1
I travel over 300 miles round trip 6 times a year to play blackjack and other games at Soboba Casino, but no longer will go there. Upon arriving a few weeks ago I quickly learned that they had destroyed their double deck and six deck blackjack games. The change in rules actually made the double deck game the worst double deck game in all of California! This casino offers me no hotel, no spa, poor restaurants and now not even a decent gamble. Why bother!2
The biggest complaint I have is the people that come on a bus and just sit.....sometimes in groups....and converse loudly. They only came for the free ride and have no intention of playing. They will watch you.....encrouching on your space. I do like the back room because I usually am able to find a game I like........ 7
I went to see a friends band play in the main room which is spacious and nice however was very disappointed with the casino it actually feels like when you breath in you are inside of a lit cigarette box had to get out could barely breath and the people had to be living in a van down by the river as this location is like the armpit of hell. I thought I would be lucky to get out alive this is why they have you pay the valet upon entering the casino2
One thing that spoils our outing at Saboba is the rudness of the bus people. Most of them do not gamble just sit at a empty machine. Also they have a bad habit of standing directly over you when your playing a machine. We are at Saboba at least three times a week so this is not an isolated incident. The opening of the Saboba Manhattan restaurant has greatly enhanced the food varieties, the portions are large and good the staff are very pleasant. 8
Soboba Casino is one of the best casinos I've gambled at in southern Califorina. Sobobas employees are always friendly and attentive to the patrons needs. There are a wide variety of games to chose from yet they could use additional game kings. The food at the cafe is quick, not to mention the prime rib they serve in the restaurant is outstanding. For me, Soboba is well worth an hours drive.9
The absolute worst casino I have ever been in. Employees are rude, they display zero training and are defiantly not supervised. Old broken slot machines and the place is smoky and dirty 1
I get to the area of Soboba only a few times a year. Tried all the other places in the area and found them either too crowded, unfriendly or just loaded with bad games. It might get crowded but they have good blackjack, the friedliest players and a fantastic staff. I hope when they build a new place they maintain that superior standard8
They need to hire more technicians or replace the older machines. The handpays service takes way too long. Food is great but theirs too much cigarrete smoke.5
the bus customers make it impossible to play during the day. the casino gives them money to play. they only spend their free plays and then stand around taking up space. the staff is friendly enough. I love Kelly, he is a 21 dealer and has a great attitude. overall i will only play at three in the morning when all of the bus fleas have gone home.6
We are there maybe 3or 4 times a mo. and I say we will never go back every time the payout is a low % not good but they have the most and the newest penny combo slots I think anywere. Drink service is very poor when the busses are in and those people are very rude.Mom enjoys it only because she has a health problem and this is her only form of entertainment. After about 4 hours I leave sick from the heavy smoke the air system is very poor so dont go is smoke gets to you. The food is just so so restrooms so so they try to keep up with the cleaning.3
Soboba is a small casino made of mostly bungalows. It's very crouded and smokey and the machnies are super tight. The BJ games have liberal rules and dealers are mostly friendly. This is a very small time gamimg with only one $25 table. If you cash out more than $500 at the cage, they get nervous and call the pit boss. Decor, food and restrooms are all 3rd world class. Cars in the parking lot are all junks and people look like from immigration depot.3
Although not as fancy as the other indian casinos, I always win at Soboba on slots. The front room is always crowded, but the middle and back rooms are not as bad, I seldom have trouble getting on a machine. But now that I've told you this, I hope not everyone goes and makes it too crowded, because this is my favorite casino of all. 9
NOW THEY HAVE CRAPS! THE WAY THEY PLAY IT IS A LITTLE WIERD, THEY USE CARDS AND DICE, BUT ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT THE GAME IS JUST LIKE NORMAL. HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THE FOOD. WILL GO BACK SOON.9
Soboba Casino; I was told it was half hour pass the middle of nowhere and I was told correctly. Once there it is somehow very busy and crowded. Not enough blackjack tables but the rules for their 6 deck game, are about tied for the best in California and the people seem quite friendly. The DD game is just about unplayable. I had a nice winning session on the tables but found the video poker poor as was the snack bar. With better video poker and food I would have rated this place several points higher.5
Soboba Casino is a little off the highway. There were signs along the way. The casino appears to be four buildings joined together, so it is a little effort to find things. It is was crowded in places. It was hard to find the booth to join Club Soboba. There was no wait when I joined. The café was crowded; Christa had a kraut dog, which was good. They did have free soft drinks and coffee at some of the machines. I had to wait 7 minutes to cash out, and then the cashier tried to get me bills that would not go into a machine. Restrooms need to be cleaned more often.5
