| I have visited numerous casinos in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Cache Creek, Pala, Pechanga etc. and I have to say my husband and I were very impressed with the entire staff at Morongo. We were passing through from a trip down South and decided to find a place to spend the night instead of continuing the drive North. The entire staff was friendly, devoted to their work, exhibiting quality and efficiency and were enjoyable to be around. We have advised everyone we know of the great time we experienced at Morongo and would stay again if time permits it. We stayed at Morongo October 2008-San Jose, CA Residents.

| Ive played at quite a few So Cal Indian Casinos and
Morongo is hands down the best of the best.Entire staff is great! Though I am a serious player and not a recreational gambler, I have never won more often and more money at any other casino in my life, and believe me I been around the Vegas and California Casinos Scene for quite a while now!
Also there comps are the best! Pechanga and San Manuel are a joke! Totally classless!! I will never go back to either one of them again! Last year I spent about 80 grand at Pechanga, 40 grand in one weekend! The next time I returned I had to fight them for a room and comped meal! Morongo by far is the best~ | 7 |
| i love morongo, i play at the poker room i sit down with 100, and leave with 200-400 profit, and then i go play blackjack and win another 300. its a fun drive, and everyone is cool there. whoever leaves bad reviews just suck at life | 9 |
| In fall of 2006, I was playing a 25c,5 line, Double Bonus Poker machine. Within 10 minutes, it dealt me a royal on the draw X 5! Next I played a 3 line $1.00 DB machine and ran it up to 2500. Not only did security question me and review tapes for 30 minutes before cashing my 2500 ticket...I went back in three weeks to find that they had removed every multi-hand machine from the casino. When questioned... they said they were just updating equipment. Too bad. Have been there several times since with nothing but disappointments. | 5 |
| 9/9/06- Really great casino. Great decor and the employees are always very helpful and nice. The buffet is wonderful. I REALLY love California craps here!! | 8 |
| Please save your hard eaned $ and go elsewhere. This place really and truly defines the word "sucks"! | 1 |
| TOO EXPENSIVE.... MACHINES WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO TIGHT!!!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! | 2 |
| This place went downhill after the "new" casino opened. The machines are extremely tight. They are the worst in the valley. Even the locals all know the place is a joke. They have high demonation machines all over the place that never pay. If you sit down next to people and ask if they are winning they will laugh at you. It looks nice on the outside and inside - but if you stop and gamble here you will be helping to pay for it. | 1 |
| this casino is nice LOOKING, but when it comes to slots, very tight and there are not much variety to the poker tables. i would not reccommend this casino if you want to win money. | 2 |
| tight slot machine. No fun at all. | 1 |
| There are tons of slot machines that are all empty but only a handful of video poker machines that were always full. What were they thinking? | 3 |
| After playong for over 2 hours and not seeing drink service, I went to the bar myself for me and Mom. Asked for 2 sodas. $4??? You have to be kidding. Do nothing but lose money and they want $2 for a glass of soda that might have 8oz of soda? Forget drinking unless you are rich. A beer is $4, mixed drinks much higher. The only freindly employees I found work in the winners club. Too bad there are no real winners in that place. | 2 |
| i can't stand the "new Morongo" because all it is is just freakin slot machines! i don't understand why slot machines are more of a big deal now than they were before at the "old Morongo". i feel that this is ridiculous. it is also extremely difficult to get around because of all the damn slot machines. i went to go play poker just as i did at the old one and surprisingly, the poker room at the new one is half the size of the original. i couldn't believe it! i also tried to go play blackjack but all the tables are now $10 minimums. i asked what happened to $5 black jack and the employee laughed at me, and then said that the casino doesn't have that anymore. all i could think was "what the hell?" anyway, everything that you'd expect to be bigger than the old one is just the opposite. even the food court is tiny. it has like 10 tables to eat at. i don't plan on ever going back. i rather take my money to a more accessible casino. | 2 |
| We hate the new machines (Bingo style slots). Bring back to old machines & we'll return. | 2 |
| Very disappointed with the "New" Morongo! Gone are all the reel machines, it's all video lottery games. We used to visit the casino about once a month(sometimes more), but with their new style, we'll be going to San Manuel. | 3 |
| The casino itself is great. They have done a wonderful job upgrading the overall look and atmosphere of the casino. It's a little small but they have a lot of different types of table games and slot machines. The rooms are excellent too. My suite was beautiful, and it was actually better than some suites I have visited in Las Vegas. I also had a regular room which was also beautifully decorated. Both have a modern/contemporary feel.
The service is okay. There are times where I can see the immaturity of the personel catering to the public. For example: Valet Attendants - didn't open trunks when they can clearly see patrons in need of help with their luggage. Restaurant Waiters/Servers - took a very long time in taking down orders and constant continual reminding of things that were forgotten. Reservation Operators - took a very long time to answer phones in order to reserve rooms. Approximate wait time 20 min. Totally unacceptable. But all these things were minor, and I am sure will improve as the casino continues to grow.
The one major aspect of the casino that I was very unsatified with was the strictness of casino security. We once came here for a birthday party and found out just how strict they can be. One of the birthday guests came in with a birthday cake but was told that no outside food will be allowed into the casino. She, yes she, was told to take the cake back to the car or dispose of it. You have got to be kidding me! A birthday cake? Doesn't casino security have better things to do than worry about a woman with a birthday cake? This was utterly demoralizing to the individual. Imagine being literally interogated in front of other casino patrons for a birthday cake! | 5 |
| Visited three times over three days - once for a short period, the other two for several hours. It was November of 2004 so not all of the machines were up and running. But I had no problem getting on machines - found staff to be very friendly. Hit a dollar slot maching and walked away $1500 up after two days. I thought it was clean, friendly and beautiful. However, one complaint. The last day I visited it took them over half an hour to get my car from valet. Other than that it was a terrific experience. | 9 |
| The "New Morongo Casino" deleted all of the popular coin/token machines. Easier and more enjoyable was the "old" casino. The "old" slot machines were fun to play and there was actually, "a chance in winning". With the revised/new machines, it's "money down the drain".
Also, the "New Morongo's" hotel is built for the "High Rollers" (with one day rates beginning at approximately $200.00). It is a Very Big Disappointment that reasonable rates ($55.00 to $75.00 for example) are not available, for the average working person.).
On the positive side, the employees are courteous and friendly.
Datess of visit 1/15/05 to 1/16/05. | 3 |
| New casino is spacious and clean, though still smoky.
Gone are the 6 deck shoes for low limit blackjack, instead 8 decks.
Won't be going back. | 5 |

Morongo is huge with 4000 slot machines but big is all it is. It does not have the elegance nor ambiance of many of the other Southern California casinos. Though there are 4000 machines, there is not much variety and over half the machines were not working. Very few Video Poker machines though the few they had were good. They have full pay JOB machines which are fairly rare. The bathrooms are awful. Very small and not well maintained. All in all, there are much better choices for gaming than Morongo. | 4 |
| Nice new facade but NO WAY to get on a machine or table. Need more gaming choices. Others are closer to LA and much more gaming space. Otherwise, nice new place. | 6 |
| The new casino is simply AWESOME...The employees are
so helpful... | 10 |
| While I enjoyed the clean non-smoking casino area and the champagne brunch, the restrooms were filty; I almost broke my neck slipping on paper towels left on the floor and we won't talk about the toilet stalls! | 4 |
| Casino Morongo is for Morons. Very dirty and smokey. The place looks cheap and worn down. Why people gamble there is mystery to me. | 1 |
| Every employee is so helpful and polite. The "Winners Club" is the best club I have ever joined. There are so many great discounts. Even though I live over an hour away, it is worth the drive. | 9 |
| Casino Morongo is right next to I10 and is one of the easiest Indian casinos to get to in California. I filled my car at their gas station.
I had a little wait to join the club. Also since, I had joined online with my first name of Jim and my license had James, it took longer. There are a lot of slot machines and a lot of people. The layout is a little confusing the first time.
They could use more .25 machines. They have some dollar machines with tokens. When I checked the $1 token I had taken home as a souvenir, it said Harrah’s Rincon. The free coffee and soft drinks was just the right spot when I was thirsty.
It was crowded even during the day. Biggest problem I had was with the traffic when I was trying to get back-on the freeway. The outlet malls and the casino share the same entrance and there is no stop light.
